Thank you for choosing me as your cosmetic tattoo artist! My goal is to guide you through what to anticipate prior to your appointment and to ensure exceptional healed results.
All bookings require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to secure the session. An appointment is NOT confirmed or reserved until the deposit is paid.
If sending the deposit via direct bank transfer, a screenshot of the reciept is required as proof of payment, no appointment will be booked without proof of payment.
If you wish to pay more than the required amount for your deposit, that is fine but please note that I will not refund the difference if you choose to reschedule or cancel as the amount paid is treated as the deposit and therefore is non-refundable.
Minimum deposit: $100.
Larger sessions (Example, Brows and Lips in the same session) require a minimum deposit of $200.
A MINIMUM OF 72 HOURS IS REQUIRED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING. YOUR DEPOSIT CAN THEN BE USED TOWARDS YOUR RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
Each client is allowed 1 reschedule. If more than 1 is required then your deposit is forfeited and you will be required to pay a deposit again. If rescheduling, your deposit can be transferred to your rescheduled date.
If your appointment is 'no call, no shown' or cancelled without proper notice. You will be required to pay a $200 cancellation fee and will be unable to rebook until this paid. A certain amount of time is dedicated to your appointment and failing to give me adequate notice inconviences me as I may not be able to rebook that timeslot in time. Single use supplies are also prepared before your appointment and as these cannot be reused, they are wasted. Imagine going to work and your boss notifying you that you're going to be paid less for the day! This fee also applies to follow-up appointments.
Cancellation fee does not apply to consults.
(1.59% surcharge for card payments)
Deposit amount is deducted from the final cost of the service once service is completed.
Please keep in mind that VAIN PAIN is a small business and every client and every hour counts. Please let me know if you are running late for your appointment. A specific set amount of time is allocated for your appointment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late and do not communciate this, your appointment will be deemed no shown. Your deposit will be forfeit and you will be charged a cancellation fee. If you are more than 30 minutes late, even with communication, your appointment may be rescheduled or cancelled at my discretion as there may not be enough time available in my day to complete your service.
Cosmetic tattooing is a multi session process and requires a follow up sessions 6-8 weeks from your initial appointment. Cosmetic tattoo ink is formulated different to traditional tattoo ink. Being made of smaller pigment particles suspended in a diluent whereas traditional tattoo ink is much more concentrated. This in combination with the depth it is implanted, is why cosmetic tattooing fades in the skin to create a softer look. The follow up is included in the cost of your initial appointment and can be booked right after your session. If you leave booking your follow appointment longer than 8 weeks, you will no longer be eligible for the complimentary touch up as a longer session will be required. You will also be charged $100 for this appointment.
Please contact me prior to your appointment if any of the below apply to you.
**It is heavily recommended to purchase numbing for a more comfortable, painless session.**
You can purchase numbing creams from this link below. This leads to the Keperra Compounding Phamarcy. Instructions on how to fill this out will be on your booking confirmation email.
The cost of this falls on you as the client as these are prescription anaesthetics specifically for YOU.
The cost of these creams are roughly $25-$35 and you can choose to have it posted to you or the studio.

Important Warning: Do not use cheap numbing creams such as 'Emla', 'TKTX', and 'NUMBIT,' which contain cheap and harmful ingredients that can warp your skins texture, cause infection, and negatively impact both the tattooing and healing process. Vain Pain is not responsible for any adverse effects if you choose to ignore this warning and use these creams.
